A Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) SH-60J helicopter crashed off Aomori Prefecture on Aug. 26. There were four on board but only one crew member was rescued.
The Nikkei reports that the United Arab Emirates has approach Japan to buy a unspecified number of Kawasaki Heavy Industries C-2 transport planes.
