U-2S tested new experimental technologies at Northern Edge
The U.S. Air Force disclosed that its U-2 high-altitude reconnaissance plane tested new experimental technology during the Northern Edge exercise in Alaska earlier this month.

RMAF Chief met Japan’s ambassador, surplus asset acquisition was discussed
Japan’s Ambassador to Malaysia Dr Makio Miyagawa met defense minister Hishammuddin Hussein on May 16 and the meeting was attended by Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) chief Gen. Affendi Buang as well.

Chinese Su-30s carried out “unprofessional” intercept of WC-135
NBC News reported that a USAF WC-135 was intercepted by two Chinese Su-30s on May 17 while flying in international airspace over the East China Sea.

QF-16s at Edwards AFB for jamming tests with F-35s
Three QF-16s were recently deployed to Edwards Air Force Base so that the F-35 test team there could evaluate the stealth fighter against aerial adversaries equipped with jamming pods.
