Maiden flight of Boeing’s second T-X prototype

Boeing and Saab have completed the maiden flight of its second production-ready T-X aircraft. Lead T-X Test Pilot Steve Schmidt and Boeing Test Pilot for Air Force Programs Matt Giese took the aircraft up for an hour.

Admiral Kuznetsov to be equipped with Kalibr missile system

Russia’s sole aircraft carrier, Admiral Kuznetsov, will swap its P-700 Granit anti-ship missile with the newer Kalibr missile system after its refit.

INS Teg fires land attack variant of BrahMos

The Indian Navy is now able to launch the land attack variant of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile. A test was conducted on Apr. 21 in which the LACM was fired from INS Teg, a guide missile frigate.

2016 B-52H crash investigation completed

U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command has determined the cause behind the crash of a B-52H bomber assigned to the 69th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron at Andersen Air Force Base in May 2016.
