VMFA-122 will replace VMA-311 as the third F-35B squadron

The U.S. Marine Corps has decided that VMFA-122 will be the next in line after VMA-211 to transition to the F-35B instead of VMA-311.

12 F-22s deployed to Australia

Twelve F-22s are being deployed to RAAF Tindal in Northern Australia as part of the Enhanced Air Cooperation Initiative under the U.S. Force Posture Agreement.

VP-5 is first P-8A squadron to win Battle ‘E’

VP-5 has become the first Boeing P-8A squadron to win the Atlantic Fleet Battle Efficiency (“E”) award. The unit beat five other squadrons to the award.
