Saab offers GaN AESA radar technology to India as part of its Gripen package

Swedish defense company Saab continues to sweeten its offer to sell its Gripen fighter to India. A company official told visiting Indian journalists that it will share its Advanced Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar with Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology to India if the Gripen is selected.

Kawasaki sees potential in snatching away some P-8A business with its P-1

A company official from Kawasaki Heavy Industries told Flight Global that the Japanese company is talking to some prospective clients who are interested in replacing their Lockheed P-3 with the P-1.
