The chief of the Republic of Korea Air Force (RoKAF), Gen. Jeong Kyeong-doo, is traveling to United States next month to help promote the T-50A bid by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) and Lockheed Martin.
USS Nimitz now armed with anti-torpedo defense system
USS Nimitz became the latest nuclear-powered aircraft carrier to have a hard-kill anti-torpedo defense system when the carrier left the shipyard last week.

For first time in combat, USN warship fired missiles to defend against incoming missile attack
USNI News has learn that during a anti-ship missile attack against U.S. Navy guided missile destroyer USS Mason on Oct. 10. The American warship had fired three anti-air missiles to defend itself and nearby USS Ponce.

The final Su-30 to roll out from KnAAPO
Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association (KnAAPO) is said to have produce its last two Su-30s, the final two are Su-30MK2 destined for Vietnam.
Lion Air hands over 737-400 to Indonesian Air Force
Lion Air officially handed over a Boeing 737-400 airliner to the Indonesian Air Force on Oct. 8. The aircraft is assigned serial number A-7308.
