Iceland says 3 Russian Tu-160s flew below commercial flight
The Icelandic foreign ministry has complained that three Russian Air Force Tu-160 bombers flew between 6,000 and 9,000 feet below a passenger plane that departed Reykjavik and bound for Sweden.

Third U.S. rotational Air Contingent in Philippines
The U.S. Air Force sent two C-130s plus airmen from the 374th Air Wing at Yokota Air Base, Japan, the 36th Contingency Response Group from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam and other units from across PACAF to Mactan-Benito Ebuen Air Base, Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines for the third rotational Air Contingent.

NATO ready to deploy AWACS to Middle East next month
Alexander Vershbow, deputy secretary general of NATO, said at a meeting at NATO headquarters in Brussels, that alliance defense ministers will likely give the green light to have E-3A deployed to the Middle East to support the fight against ISIL.
