Skyguide assigned Swiss Hornet pilot wrong altitude before crash

The Swiss military said on Sept. 6 that preliminary investigations revealed that Swiss air traffic agency, Skyguide, had assigned the Swiss F/A-18 that crashed into mountain on a wrong altitude.

Poland officially selects Patriot

The Polish government has confirmed that it has selected Raytheon’s Patriot air defense missile system. According to Raytheon, this makes Poland the 6th NATO Patriot country and the 14th Patriot partner nation.

Turkish Air Force disbands three F-16 squadrons after coup attempt

Three Turkish Air Force F-16C/D squadrons assigned to the 4th Air Wing – the 141st, 142nd and 143rd – have been disbanded and the aircraft assigned to other wings.

Maiden flight of HAL’s LUH
