Israeli Heron 1 UAV crashes, 25 civilians had smoke inhalation
A Heron 1 unmanned aerial vehicle that belongs to Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) went down in an Israeli Arab community in northern Israel on Aug. 9. It hit a building and caught fire.

Singapore walks away from F-35B, for now
Bloomberg reported that Singapore has decided not to buy the F-35B, it had submitted a letter of request to buy four aircraft with options for eight more in 2014.
