F-35, F/A-18F out to impress Canadians at Abbotsford International Airshow

The Abbotsford International Airshow is taking place on Aug. 12 and this year, the F-35 will make its debut in Canada. Not to be outdone by Lockheed Martin, Boeing will be represented by the F/A-18F.

First official photo of PLAAF Su-30MKK mid-air refueling with Il-78

Chinese state media reported on Aug. 6 that the People’s Liberation Army Air Force had carried out a large-scale air exercise to South China Sea. Among the official photos released is one showing the Su-30MKK doing a mid-air refueling. This is the first official confirmation that the Chinese Su-30MKK has an air fueling capability.

Iceland says no request from U.S. to reopen NAS Keflavik

Commenting on a recent report from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Iceland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Lilja Dögg Alfreðsdóttir says Washington has not made any request to reopen Naval Air Station Keflavik.
