U.S. Navy had to cannibalize parts from 3 squadrons to keep those on Truman CSG flying

When the Pentagon announced that the Truman Carrier Strike Group (CSG) will extend its cruise by another month to support Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR), the U.S. Navy was also scrambling to find spare parts to keep the strike fighters in Carrier Air Wing 7 flying.

USN MH-60S medevac RoKN sailor from submarine

A Republic of Korea Navy sailor is recovering aboard USNS Mercy in the middle of Pacific Ocean after getting medevac off Chang Bogo-class submarine ROKS Lee Eokgi on May 27.
