On Mar. 24 in Naples, Italy, the U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa (NAVEUR-NAVAF) and U.S. Fleet Forces Command established Commander, Task Force 64 (CTF 64). The focus of the command is Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) in Europe.

F-35Bs on schedule to be deployed to Japan in January 2017
