This year’s RIMPAC will see CH-53s, MV-22s landing aboard Australia’s new carrier

Australia will bring its new amphibious assault ship HMAS Canberra to the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise in Hawaii and the ship’s captain told Jane’s that USMC CH-53s and MV-22s will be carrying out deck qualifications.

B-52 from Minot AFB conducts long-range training with Colombian Air Force

The aircrew of a B-52H from Minot Air Force Base had training with the Colombian Air Force during its recent 27-hour non-stop trip to Chile for FIDAE airshow.

Rare video shows PLANAF JC-8F reconnaissance fighter in mid-air refueling

The People’s Liberation Army Naval Air Force (PLANAF) has shown its JC-8F reconnaissance fighter to the public. A CCTV footage shows two of the fighters carrying out a mid-air refueling exercise.

RAF Museum launch ‘Names on a Plane’ campaign

A fundraising campaign has been launched by the RAF Museum for members of the public to have their name to be written on the wings of an RAF Red Arrows Hawk jet that will fly throughout the Red Arrows’ 2017 display season.
