U.S. Army to select and field C-12 and C-26 replacement in FY 2018
At the hearing for the House Armed Services Committee’s subcommittee on tactical air and land forces, Army Lt. Gen. Michael E. Williamson told lawmakers that a replacement for C-12 and C-26 aircraft is projected to be selected and begin fielding in fiscal year 2018.

Saab will assemble new Gripen C/Ds for lease instead of recycling Swedish AF jets
Richard Smith, Saab’s sales and marketing manager for Gripen, told reporters that customers who wish to lease the fighter will get new planes from the production line instead of having second-hand Swedish Air Force jets.
