A330 MRTT still available as new built aircraft after closure of A330-200 line

Airbus Military has assured that the A330 MRTT aerial tanker will be offered as new built aircraft after 2020 despite the A330-200 production line being close after 2019.

F/A-18C from VMFA-232 crashed in U.K. while returning home from Middle East

A F/A-18C from VMFA-232 crashed near Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England while returning to its home base at MCAS Miramar on Oct. 21. The pilot was killed in the crash.

Finland kicks off HX program to replace its F/A-18

Egypt to acquire one excess E-2C

According to information posted on the U.S. Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Northrop Grumman to return aircraft (a/c) A-97 (currently being preserved) and associated parts to the Egyptian Air Force.
