J-7 fighter crash in China kills one civilian
One civilian was killed when a J-7 fighter crashed in Xiangyang, Hubei, China on Jun. 9. Two others on the ground were injured as well.

First RAAF pilot to clock 4,000 hours on F/A-18
The Royal Australian Air Force had its first F/A-18 pilot to clock more than 4,000 hours on the type recently.

The milestone was achieved on May 23 at RAAF Base Amberley, with Squadron Leader Grealy having accrued 1,500 hours on F/A-18A/B Hornet and 2,500 hours on F/A-18F Super Hornet to date.
