MBDA has renamed the MMP and MHT missiles to AKERON MP and AKERON LP respectively. The AKERON LP has a unique three-mode seeker which has TV and uncooled IR imagery.
Getting the C-130J is number one priority for USN Reserve
Vice Adm. John B. Mustin, chief of U.S. Navy Reserve, told the Senate Appropriations Committee’s Defense subcommittee that the Reserve’s number one equipment priority is to buy the C-130J to replace the aging C-130T.

Last F-14 in USN service will be moving to Cradle of Aviation Museum
Felix 101, F-14D BuNo 164603, will be moving from Bethpage to the Cradle of Aviation Museum. Northrup Grumman will be helping to pay for and support the relocation.
