USAF demonstrating a new data link called AERONet using AT-6E
Two AT-6Es, flown by 81st Fighter Squadron pilots, will be at Moody Air Force Base from January to May this year to demonstrate a new exportable datalink called Airborne Extensible Relay Over-Horizon Network (AERONet) to partner nations.

Japan dispatch C-130 to Tonga with relief supplies
Two C-130s from Japan have left the country to bring relief supplies to Tonga on Jan. 20. The planes are carrying water and equipment to remove volcanic ash.

513th Air Control Group creates new AWACS orbit map of U.S.
The AWACS orbit map in U.S. airspace was last updated in 2015, over the past year, Reservists from the 513th Air Control Group have been busy updating it to include orbits of JSTARS and KC-46 units.
