Hagel, Onodera confirm 2nd MV-22 squadron coming to Japan

In a joint press conference with his Japanese counterpart Itsunori Onodera, U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel confirmed that a second squadron of 12 MV-22s will be heading to Japan.

Six MV-22s flew non-stop to Spain as part of new crisis response team

The Pentagon has set up a Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force, Crisis Response (SP-MAGTF CR) force that will provide limited defense crisis response in support of U.S. Embassies in U.S. Africa Command’s area of responsibility.
