Raytheon completes HARM Control Section Modification testing

Raytheon announced that it has completed testing of the HARM Control Section Modification (HCSM). The modification to the AGM-88 includes a GPS receiver and an improved inertial measurement unit (IMU) for precision navigation.

X-47B gets modified tail hook

A team from Fleet Readiness Center South West (FRCSW) at Naval Air Station North Island was asked to redesign the hook point for the X-47B after tests found that the original hook was inadequate during roll-in arrestment tests.

British solider was killed by U.S. Apache gunfire in Afghanistan

A British solider from 3rd Battalion The Rifles was killed in Afghanistan in December 2009 after U.S. Apaches mistook them for insurgents and fired on them.
