Sri Lankan police found evidence that An-24 was shot down by rebels in March 2000
A An-24, chartered by the Sri Lanka military, crashed in March 2000 shortly after take-off. Local police have found two suspects who confessed to shooting it down with two missiles.

It was Azerbaijan that bought a Green Pine radar last year
The single EL/M-2080 Green Pine radar that was sold by Elta last year was destined for Azerbaijan. Besides the radar, Azerbaijan also bought Gabriel anti-ship missiles, five Heron and five Searcher UAVs and a Barak-8 air defense system with 75 missiles.
