One of the Stratfor emails released by Wikileaks said the Czech Republic wants the U.S. to give it a better deal on the F-16 or more significant role in the missile defense shield.

Why Japan is seeking the KC-130R

Update: Apparently, the KC-130R was bought to replace the JMSDF’s fleet of aging YS-11M. The in-flight refueling capability will be removed.

In case you are wondering why Japan wants to buy the KC-130R, it may be because there is a requirement to provide aerial refueling for the JASDF UH-60Js.

Kuwait seeks 80 AIM-9X-2

Kuwait has requested to buy 80 AIM-9X-2 Block II missiles from the United States. Also included in the request are 26 CATM-9X-2 captive air training missiles.
