The first Boeing 737 AEW&C “Peace Eye” aircraft for South Korea has arrived in the country at Gimhae air force base.

Chengdu J-10B now powered by WS-10, unknown bumps in front of canards

A new Chengdu J-10B fighter has been pictured with the indigenous WS-10 engine. Gone are the pitot tube on the radome and emergence of unknown bumps in front of the canards.

Could MMRCA be doomed by Indian benchmark process?

Ajai Shukla reports that the plan to supply 126 fighters to the Indian Air Force by Dassault and Eurofighter Consortium could be doomed if their bids are more expensive than the Ministry of Defence’s estimation even after it has been adjusted for inflation.

HASC: USN deployed aircraft only 45 percent fully mission-capable

Li Xiaoyan: China’s first aircraft carrier commander?

According to Dongfang daily news, the Li Xiaoyan, is the first commanding officer of Varyag. The newspaper also said the ship is unlikely to make its maiden sea trial on Aug. 1.
