Lockheed Martin, Pratt & Whitney to fork out $283 million for F-35 cost overruns

Vice Admiral David Venlet, program manager for the F-35, said Lockheed Martin and Pratt & Whitney will pay as much as $283 to cover one-third of the $918 million cost overrun on the first 28 F-35 fighters.

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) claims its has shot down a U.S. drone flying near the Fordo nuclear enrichment plant in Qom province.

STSS successfully acquired and tracked short-range, air-launched target

The Space Tracking and Surveillance System (STSS) demonstration satellites successfully acquired and tracked a short-range, air-launched target (SRALT) Jul. 8 in a test that showed their ability to track dim objects that have extremely short flight timelines.
