Eight American soldiers and a contractor have been killed by an Afghan air force pilot at Kabul airport after an argument. The pilot apparently shot himself later.

UAE F-16 veers off runway in Italy, pilot ejects
The United Arab Emirates confirmed that one of its F-16s enforcing the no-fly zone in Libya had crashed on landing at Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy. The pilot ejected to safety.
