F-15E AESA radar upgrade affected by stalled FY2011 budget

The USAF will have to ground some of its F-15Es due to a shortage of parts for its radar if the AESA radar upgrade contract is not awarded this year. A stalled FY 2011 budget is the root cause of the problem as the Air Force lacks funds to carry out the upgrade.

MiG-29UPG makes first flight

An Indian Air Force MiG-29 upgraded by MiG has made its first flight in Russia on Feb. 4. Amongst the new features of the jet is the new Phazatron Zhuk-M radar.
