Breaking: OH-58D crashes in Taiwan during Han Kuang exercise

A OH-58H helicopter, #616, has crashed at Hsinchu airbase at 15:28 local time today. Two people on board were sent to the hospital. The helicopter was participating in the annual Han Kuang exercise.

A U.S. Air Force F-15C from the 85th Test and Evaluation Squadron fired a AIM-9X dogfight missile for the first time while using the Legion Pod to identify, track and shoot the target.
