CIA declassifies Project Aquiline

The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has declassified its Project Aquiline on Jul. 30. The secretive program from the late 1960s was to build a bird-like unmanned air vehicle that can collect photographic and electronic intelligence plus emplacing sensors in denied environments.

421st Expeditionary Fighter Squadron is the first USAF F-35A unit to go on alert status

The 421st Expeditionary Fighter Squadron has become the first F-35A unit in the U.S. Air Force to go on alert status this month.

An F-35A Lighting II taxis at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, May 20, 2020. Airmen from the 388th and 419th Fighter Wings have deployed F-35As into combat three times in 12 months. The group of deployed Airmen is made of pilots for the actvie duty 421st Fighter Squadron and the Reserve 466th Fighter Squadron, as well as active duty and Reserve Airmen in the 421st Aircraft Maintnenace Unit. Air Zoo to get a F-117 for display

The Air Zoo Aerospace and Science Museum has become one of the first non-government museums to get a Lockheed F-117 stealth fighter for display.

Turkey deploys Black Hawk and T129 to Azerbaijan

Turkey has deployed its combat helicopters to Azerbaijan for a live-fire exercise. Video footage shows a Black Hawk and a T129 arriving in Baku aboard a A400M transport.
