Delivering the first CMV-22B to NAS Patuxent River wasn’t that smooth sailing

The U.S. Navy’s new CMV-22B Carrier Onboard Delivery (COD) tilt-rotor was delivered to NAS Patuxent River in February. The ferry flight was a total of 6.5 hours but it took two days to accomplish.

There are now at least 25 flyable B-1Bs each day

In a telephone conference with reporters, U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command chief Gen. Timothy Ray says there are now at least 25 B-1B bombers that are able to fly each day.
