U.S. Sen. Lindsay Graham of South Carolina tells NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he wants the Pentagon to consider having a few permanent airbases in Afghanistan.
Graham said these bases would be a benefit to the region and would give Afghan security forces an edge against the Taliban.
