Canada wants to sell its CH-47Ds, now based in Afghanistan, rather than bring them back home.
Six of them were bought from the U.S. recently and one was shot down by the Taliban.
Critics say the helicopter should have been brought back home as they are useful in carrying out search-and-rescue missions.
