Ex-USMC aviator flies in a Stearman after nearly 70 years

One of the highlights of the Aviation Week air show at NAS Pensacola was a low-level flypast by a Stearman biplane with a 90-year-old former USMC aviator in the cockpit.

Burrel Sumner first flew in the Stearman near 70 years ago while training to be a fighter pilot for the U.S. Marine Corps.
