The youngest U-2 in the world, built in 1987, was trucked to Robins Air Force Base for assessment to its structure after the fuselage was damaged during maintenance in 2008.
There, engineers will determine if its economical to repair the damages caused when the hydrogen system on the plane accidentally discharged.
