South Korea scrambled four F-15Ks after a Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force helicopter flew close to disputed islets in the Sea of Japan on Sept. 21.
The JMSDF confirmed that the helicopter entered the area while conducting a takeoff and landing drill on destroyer Ariake.
