Pentagon’s top weapon tester says Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile “not operationally effective”

The Pentagon’s director of operational testing told the U.S. Navy that the AGM-88E Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile “is not operationally effective.”

However, the service went on to order the missile into production. A Navy spokeswoman said deficiencies listed by Michael Gilmore are scheduled to be fixed in 2015.
