Decision on OH-58 delayed again

It was bad news for defense companies bidding to replace the OH-58 as U.S. Army officials on Wednesday said they do not expect to decide until later this year.

Lt. Gen. William Phillips, military director of Army acquisition, said none of the existing helicopters in production met the Army’s requirements. This could push the Army to improve capabilities of the current OH-58 fleet instead.
