Japan could replace E-2C with 737 AEW&C

Japan intents to start the process of replacing the E-2C in fiscal 2015 with a new airborne early warning aircraft.

Sources told Yomiuri Shimbun that the potential candidate is the Boeing 737 AEW&C.
