DARPA wants software to allow drones to engage in air-to-air combat

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) will host an Industry Day on Feb. 28 to brief the industry on its Distributed Battle Management (DBM) program.

The software developed will be required to assist battle managers and pilots with managing air-to-air and air-to-ground combat. This will involve unmanned aircraft as well.
