Participants at this year’s Exercise Cope North in Guam were going thru training scenarios for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief events when the call came to provide aid to Rota island.
Airmen from the U.S. Air Force, Japan Air Self-Defense Force and Royal Australian Air Force quickly brought food and other supplies to the island after a state of emergency was declared when a resupply barge failed to dock on the island.
