Saab gets RBS 70 contract from Brazil

It is now confirmed that the Brazilian Army has purchased an undisclosed number of RBS 70 VSHORAD (very short range air defence system) from Saab.

Brazil needs the missiles in order to better protect sites hosting the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the 2016 Summer Olympics inRio de Janeiro.
