U.S. House Appropriations Committee voted to retire A-10

The U.S. House Appropriations Committee voted 23-13 to retire the U.S. Air Force’s A-10 attack jet on Jun. 10.

Lawmakers on both the House and Senate Armed Services Committees have earlier voted to keep the jet flying for another year.
