The Pentagon’s spokesman Rear Adm John Kirby has confirmed that Iran’s Air Force has attacked ISIL targets in eastern Iraq.
“We have indications that they did indeed fly air strikes with F-4 Phantoms in the past several days,” he said.
Kirby however insisted that the U.S. has not coordinated military activities with Iran.
