Turkish Air Force shuns indigenous aircraft

While Turkey has produced two indigenous aircraft to meet the needs of its military, the latter is reluctant to accept both into service.

After ten years of development, TAI is still struggling to deliver a version of the Anka unmanned aircraft that meets specifications.

The Turkish Air Force has doubts that TAI can deliver sufficient Hürkuş training aircraft to fulfill its requirements and opted to buy more KAI KT-1s instead.
