The U.S. Marine Corps’ crisis response force in the Middle East will rotate out the AV-8Bs and replace them with F/A-18s from VMFA-232.
The original plan was to field a Hornet squadron with the SPMAGTF, however, no Hornet unit could fill the billet at that time.
