VMMT-204 will conduct flight training with V-22’s ramp in up position

VMMT-204 will conduct all future training on the V-22 with the ramp in the “up” position in all flight regimes and profiles except during landing or when conducting operations that requires the ramp to be lowered.

The new rule was imposed after an accident last year in which a crew member fell off from the ramp in-flight and was killed.
