MQ-1 went down over northwest Syria, which claims to have shot it down

A U.S. MQ-1 has gone down over northwest Syria on Mar. 17. Syria claims to have shot it down.

Reuters said the aircraft was contactable around 7:40 p.m. and the drone had taken off from Turkey.
