VMFAT-101 brought fifteen of their F/A-18s to MCAS Beaufort from MCAS Miramar as the base in the West Coast is busy with an airshow and a weapons and tactics instructor’s course.

This is the first time the squadron has deployed to MCAS Beaufort in order to train their student pilots.
“Beaufort was chosen as our temporary home because many of its squadrons are deployed or training,” Capt. Steve Bellevue, an instructor with VMFAT-101.
