Missing Spanish AS 332 crew might have been kidnapped

Spanish Defense Minister Pedro Morenés has not ruled out the possibility that a missing AS 332 crew might have been kidnapped by pirates along the West African coast.

Military sources say the chance of the crew killed when the helicopter went down is also remote.

The three-member crew went missing at sea off the coast of Western Sahara on Oct. 22.
