ORS-4, managed by the U.S. Air Force’s Operationally Responsive Space division, was meant to demonstrate a way to rapidly deploy small satellites to plug gaps in the satellite networks during an attack or due to failure.

The Super Strypi can trace its lineage back to the Strypi sounding rocket that carried out the last American nuclear warhead detonation in space.
