India and Malaysia have decided to set up a Su-30 forum to exchange information on how to maintain and train on the Russian fighter jet.

The idea was set in stone during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kuala Lumpur.
The Indian Air Force had previously sent instructors to Malaysia to help build a cadre of Su-30MKM pilots when RMAF first bought the jets.
